The Big Make

The Big Make

29 June – 29 July 2020

A BIG celebration of creativity across Milton Keynes!

MAKE is inviting all children and young people across Milton Keynes to take part in The Big Make, a BIG celebration of creativity in all forms.

Taking part is simple

  1. Make or create something new by trying a new art form; learning a new skill; or testing out a new idea.  Any theme or topic is possible and participants can make or create anything.
  2. Share your creativity with others – family, friends, classmates or online with other Big Makers.
  3. Register to turn your own Big Make into a fundraiser (optional) and receive a special e-certificate for taking part.

The Big Make fundraiser

As part of The Big Make, children and young people are invited to turn their creativity into cash in order to help others like them.

All money raised will directly fund arts projects designed especially for children and young people in MK. Projects across the arts – from painting and dance to music and theatre – improve children and young people’s lives through creative, personal and educational development. MAKE is a charitable initiative led by a group of over 60 teaching and arts professionals.  MAKE nourishes and supports the creative and cultural wellbeing of children and young people across MK.

See how previous funds have made a difference on MAKE’s project pages.

Fundraising as part of The Big Make is completely optional.
